The Kirtland Hornets football team, led by nationally renowned head coach Tiger LaVerde, has built a powerhouse legacy with state championships in 2011, 2013, 2015, 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2023. The team has also earned state runner-up honors multiple times. In addition, the Kirtland women’s soccer team proudly claimed a state championship in 2020.
